Scope of Work: Brisbane Fire Protection was contracted to decommission and replace two large-scale IG541 inert gas suppression systems in the switchgear and DCS control rooms of Millmerran Power Station. The project presented significant challenges due to the high-risk nature of working in operational electrical areas without shutdown.
Specialist access strategies were developed to enable safe removal and installation above live equipment. The works were delivered under time and budget, with zero impact on operations - reinforcing BrisFire’s capacity to deliver safety-critical upgrades within essential power generation infrastructure.
